With electric mixer beat the eggs with the sugar. Add cheese, oil, semolina, flour and baking powder. Blend the mixture nicely. Bake in previously greased pan number 30 at 200℃ for 30 minutes in a preheated oven. Cut the “tatlia” in squares.
Preparation of the syrup: Put the water and the sugar into a big saucepan and let it boil for 10 min. Add the lemon zest and the lemon juice in the end.
When the syrup is ready pour half of it all over the “tatlia” and put the pan back in the oven for 10 min.to sponge the syrup. Then pour the rest of the syrup all over the “tatlia”.
