With an electric mixer beat the eggs and the sugar. Then add the milk, oil, flour, semolina and the baking powder. When the mixture is blended nicely add the walnuts. Bake in round pan number 32 in preheated oven at 200℃, for 25 min. Preparation of the syrup: Put the sugar and the water into a saucepan and boil for 10 min. Then add the lemon zest and lemon juice in the syrup. Add the warm syrup to the previously cooled cake.
