Preparation

Put the poppy seed in a preheated pan and roast for about 20 min. at 50°С. Then put the poppy seeds to cool. Using a mortar and pestle crush the poppy seeds. Poppy seeds will release oil and become darker. Preparation of rice: In a saucepan put one liter of water and bring to the boil. Then add the sugar. Also add the rice in the boiling water and continuously stir. Cook the rice and the poppy seeds for 1 min. at 100°С, and then lower the heat at 50°С and cook around 30 minutes. Serve in a bowl and let it cool at 20°С
